Biote Certified Provider Seal [English]

Hello, I am Jade Klingler. I was born and raised in Sturgis. I have been married to Steve, since 2008 and we have 2 wonderful daughters Tatum and Jaxyn. I graduated from high school in 2000. I attended Glen Oaks Community College where I received my LPN and RN degrees.

I worked at Coldwater Hospital full time and Three Rivers hospital on an as-needed basis. While at Coldwater Hospital I worked in many areas Medical floor, Surgical floor, Pediatrics, Wound center, and Home health. I learned many things from each area I worked in and valued the insight and knowledge each brought. During this time I also started at Goshen College for my BSN (Bachelors in Nursing) and my MSN-FNP (Masters in Nursing).

After graduating with my MSN and passing my boards to be an FNP, I worked for Sturgis Hospital in the pain clinic, AM/PM Care, and General practice at different offices. I then was relocated to Colon Medical Clinic full time where I learned so much about healthcare in small communities. I am so proud to have served the Colon area and met some of the most amazing people in my life.

I am now very proud to be able to offer medical services to the great Sturgis area with Revolution Health. I believe that communities, families, and individuals can be highly effected with the right information, education, nutrition, follow up, prevention, and guidance. My goal is to be able to help as many in our community get to their ideal health.

PA- Johanna Orca-Handyside

Hello, I am Johanna Orca-Handyside. I was born and raised in Sturgis and am excited and honored to be serving the residents of our great city. After graduating from Sturgis High School in 1999, I received my B.A. in English with honors from the University of Michigan. Admittedly, I wasn’t quite sure in what professional direction I wanted to go, so after graduation, my now-husband and I moved to Steamboat Springs, CO where I worked as a veterinary receptionist and enjoyed the beauty of the west for 4 years. Driven by a desire to be closer to family, we then moved to Madison, WI where I worked at Epic Systems for a year, then for Pleasant Rowland, creator of the American Girls books for 3 years.

During my time in Wisconsin, I struggled with finding fulfillment in my professional life. I wanted to be a part of a profession that allowed me to continue to grow and learn while being able to contribute to and care for those in my community. This desire drove me to pursue my degrees a physician assistant. On my journey toward that end, I volunteered at Sturgis and Parkview LaGrange Hospitals, worked at a plasma donation center and as a phlebotomist in Elkhart, and gathered more experience working at a local podiatrist’s office. I completed my course prerequisites through Glen Oaks Community College and Western Michigan University. I graduated from Western Michigan University’s Physician Assistant program with a Master’s of Science in Medicine in 2020.

My husband Zach and I have two sons, Connor and Ike, and a rambunctious dog named Biscuit. I enjoy running, reading, and spending time in the beautiful Michigan outdoors. I am thrilled to be a part of the amazing team at Revolution Health and look forward to supporting the health and well-being of the people in our community.

FNP- Traci Van Gorden

I grew up in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University for both my B.S. and M.S. degrees in 1999 and 2003. I admit I wasn’t exactly sure what I was getting into when I applied to the Family Nurse Practitioner program, as I had never heard of an NP! I did a little research, made an appointment for a checkup with an NP at the student health center, and then decided to give it a try. As it turns out, I made a great choice for my career. I have worked in several areas of healthcare, including acute care pediatric pain management, family practice/primary care, an inpatient hospitalist team, pediatric primary care, and in a handful of Emergency Departments. I particularly enjoy pediatrics and working with children. Helping them learn how to take care of their health from an early age as well as working with parents to educate and guide them is so fulfilling and rewarding to me. Kids are my favorite people!

I live near Sturgis with my two sons, and when I’m not hanging out with them I enjoy running, yoga, and reading as many books as possible. We also share our home with a yellow lab named Buster (who is my favorite running buddy), two cats, and two guinea pigs. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, surely influenced by growing up on a farm. My kids and I love to travel and have adventures together! I am excited to once again work within the Sturgis community to help provide primary care.

FNP- Michael Klein

Hello, my name is Mike Klein; I am a family nurse practitioner. I grew up on a family farm a few miles outside of Mendon. I graduated with my LPN and RN from Glen Oaks Community College. I completed my BSN at Ferris State University and my MSN-FNP at Spring Arbor University. I also have a bachelors in philosophy.

My nursing background is mostly in intensive care, having worked at Bronson Methodist Hospital in the medical intensive care unit and at Borgess Medical Center in the cardiac intensive care unit. My experiences there helped direct me to primary care – the opposite end of the healthcare spectrum – where I hope to prevent or mitigate chronic diseases through general management, education, lifestyle modification, and follow up care.

I’m excited to come back to the Sturgis area and begin working with and for the community.

FNP- Carol Sharp

My name is Carol Sharp and I am an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner. My career began at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids where I was a Labor and Delivery nurse before going back to school to become an NP. I loved L&D but knew that Women’s Health was my calling so here I am 30+ years later, still loving every minute of it! In 1993 we moved to Colon so my husband could help with the family farm, a “job” that he still enjoys to this day. Although I was reluctant in the beginning, raising my kids on the farm and the small town of Colon have made us all who we are today.

My son Luke works in sales but still farms with his dad, cousin, and uncles and will be a Dad in December which means I will be a grandma!!! To say I am excited is an understatement.!

My daughter Courtney is a dentist living in Austin Texas and just finished 5 years in the Army. We are so proud of her service to our country but boy is she glad to be done!  She is newly engaged but too busy to plan a wedding. Time will tell!

In March of last year, I was forced into a temporary retirement from my job with Dr. Clark. The closing of our wonderful OB floor at Sturgis Hospital then our private office came as a shock to us all but life goes on. The opportunity to work with new amazing people has been light at the end of the tunnel for me. I have managed to stay plenty busy with my own dogs, horses, chickens, and cats but my real passion is volunteering at our local Animal Control. I walk dogs for the agency but am also a huge advocate for adoption, spay/neutering, and animal welfare. My experiences at Animal Control have changed me for the better…. very good for my soul. Looking forward to seeing all the wonderful women in our community who deserve affordable, quality, and accessible care.

AGPCNP- Stacy Sharp

Hi, I am Stacy Sharp. I graduated from Bronson High School in 2008 and obtained both my LPN
and RN degrees from Glen Oaks Community College. I worked at Thurston Woods Village in
Sturgis for over seven years in various positions caring for the elderly population. In addition to
that, I worked at Bronson Commons in Mattawan for over five years as an RN and unit
coordinator. Between these positions, I acquired 13 years of experience with the older adult
population and one year in a formal leadership position.
My husband Matt and I married in June of 2015. Together we have two beautiful little girls;
Audrey and Evelyn. Matt is a lifelong resident of Colon and is a fifth-generation farmer. We all
happily live on the family farm in Colon.

After years of seeing the same patients constantly in and out of the hospital and a large number
of avoidable readmissions, I knew I needed to make a bigger impact. While working full-time, I
completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Goshen College in 2019. I
completed a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Spring Arbor University in 2021. I
specialized as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.

I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Revolution Health and even more thrilled to be
able to provide care at the clinic in Colon and make a positive difference in the lives of my
community!

Therapy Pets aka Office Favorites - Castor & Apollo

Castor & Apollo are the proud therapy pets of Revolution Health. During their “down time” at the office, they enjoy naps, creating obstacle courses for staff in the halls, and an abundance amount of pets and attention. Apollo’s favorite place to hang out is the breakroom during lunch hour or the nurses station for snacks. You can mostly find Castor lounging near the reception area or in his Mom’s office.
